This Tuesday (1) at 11:54 p.m. local time, the first Copa Airlines flight from Panama City arrived at Rosario Airport. The airline returned to Rosario after a 23-month suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Copa will have three weekly services between the two cities on Boeing 737-800s, with capacity for 154 passengers in two classes. With this schedule, the airline will offer 462 seats per week on each leg.
Rosario is Copa Airlines’ fourth destination in Argentina. The company operates to Buenos Aires, Cordoba and Mendoza with Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft.
The first flight arrived with 46 passengers, which is low but to be expected considering that the direction of traffic is mostly outbound, and the departure from Rosario will be with 154 passengers, according to sources close to the company.
