On May 20 Frontier Airlines inaugurated flights between Las Vegas (LAS) and Guadalajara (GDL), the company’s fourth destination in Mexico. Flight F9 208 took off from Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) at 13:12 local time and landed at Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla Airport (GDL) at 18:27.
Data compiled by Aviacionline through the Federal Civil Aviation Agency of Mexico (AFAC) indicates that in 2019 between Guadalajara (GDL) and Las Vegas (LAS) 201,185 passengers were mobilized in 1,484 air operations, the seventh busiest route from Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla Airport (GDL) to the United States.
Flight Itinerary
- Las Vegas – Guadalajara Flight F9 208 LAS 10:21 – GDL 15:42 Monday and Friday.
- Guadalajara – Las Vegas Flight F9 209 GDL 16:47 – LAS 18:17 Monday and Friday.
The flights will be operated on Airbus A320neo aircraft, and the company will offer 744 seats per week on this route.
Frontier currently offers non-stop service to Cancun (CUN) and Los Cabos (SJD), in addition to seasonal flights to Puerto Vallarta (PVR), with this new route to Guadalajara (GDL), the airline leaves behind the expansion to vacation destinations and explores other VFR traffic destinations.
In addition, on June 2, the low-cost carrier will inaugurate its fifth destination in Mexico to Monterrey (MTY) with a non-stop connection from Las Vegas (LAS). From Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), Frontier will offer more than four Mexican destinations and 3,720 seats per week from Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) this summer season.

According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, the low-cost airline will offer 35,0684 seats per week in more than 168 air operations between the United States and Mexico, the schedule is as follows:
- Cancun (CUN): Atlanta (ATL), Cleveland (CLE), Cincinnati (CVG), Denver (DEN), Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Houston – Hobby (HOU), Houston – Intercontinental (IAH), Orlando (MCO), Miami (MIA), Chicago O’Hare (ORD), Philadelphia (PHL), St. Louis (STL) and Tampa (TPA).
- Los Cabos (SJD): Las Vegas (LAS), Denver (DEN)
- Puerto Vallarta (PVR): Las Vegas (LAS), Denver (DEN)
- Guadalajara (GDL): Las Vegas (LAS).
