[REPORT] ITA Airways routes and flights to Argentina, Brazil and the United States

Currently, the United States is ITA Airways’ only American market with flights to and from Italy. Operations are provided by Airbus A330-200s, configured for 250 passengers.

The Italian airline’s destinations in Rome (FCO) are Boston, Miami and New York (JFK), and from Milan it serves to JFK Airport.

In order to recover flights to markets suspended due to Alitalia’s closure, the company will start operations to Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo as of June 2nd. In the case of the Argentine capital, services will be offered on Airbus A350s, while the Brazilian city will be carried out by Airbus A330s.

The last scheduled passenger flights to Argentina and Brazil operated with Alitalia were in March 2020, prior to COVID-19. At the time, these operations were performed on Boeing 777s.

As well as Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo, ITA will begin service between Rome and Los Angeles effective June 1st.

Boston, Buenos Aires, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Sao Paulo will be ITA Airways’ destinations to the Americas from June onwards.
