Aerolíneas Argentinas resumes flights between Buenos Aires and Rome

Aerolíneas Argentinas Airbus A330 LV-KHT LV-KAO LV-KAN

This Thursday (2) at 10:52 p.m. local time, the first Aerolíneas Argentinas flight to Rome departed from Buenos Aires. The company resumed its operations between both cities after a 26-month suspension as a consequence of COVID-19.

Aerolíneas Argentinas will have four weekly services on the above-mentioned route with Airbus A330-200s, configured for 265 passengers.

Rome is Aerolíneas Argentinas’ second destination in Europe. Madrid has a daily frequency on the same aircraft.

“It is an immense happiness to operate again the route between Buenos Aires and Rome, since we have deep cultural, blood and historical ties with Italy. This flight also means one more alternative to boost the arrival of tourists from abroad”, said Pablo Ceriani, head of the airline.

In July, Aerolíneas Argentinas will move its flights to Bogotá to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery. Furthermore, operations to Punta Cana will be carried out on Boeing 737 MAX 8s in conjunction with Havana, a new destination for the carrier.
