The Spanish regional airline Air Nostrum announced fifty new routes that will reinforce its offer during the peak of the summer season. The company will mainly focus its summer operation on tourist destinations, especially in the Canary and Balearic Islands. All flights are already on sale through official channels.
Air Nostrum has already inaugurated its connections between Málaga (AGP) and Casablanca (CMN), Nador (NDR), Tangier (TNG) and Tétouan (TTU), in Morocco. At the end of July, it will start flying to Nador from Alicante (ALC) and Palma de Mallorca (PMI).
On the other hand, it will add three new routes from Santander (SDR). It will connect the Cantabrian city with Granada (GRX), Vigo (VGO) and Jerez de la Frontera (XRY).
Operation in the Canary Islands
On the other hand, there will be up to four weekly frequencies between Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (LPA) and Vigo (VGO), and three weekly flights connecting the capital city of the archipelago with Valencia (VLC) and Valladolid (VLL). During the summer season, Air Nostrum will also fly between Tenerife Norte (TFN) and Valladolid (VLL).
From July 22th, the peak of the summer season, it will add operations to Lanzarote (ACE), which will become its third destination in the Canary Islands. From there it will fly to Vigo (VGO) on Sundays and Wednesdays, and to Valladolid (VLL) on Mondays and Fridays. In addition, it will offer two weekly connections from Lanzarote to Málaga (AGP) and up to four to Valencia (VLC).
From Alicante, the company will maintain three weekly frequencies to Gran Canaria (LPA) and four to Tenerife North (TFN). It will also connect the archipelago with Galicia: it will fly twice a week from Santiago de Compostela (SCQ) to Tenerife Norte (TFN) and three times a week to Gran Canaria (LPA).
Finally, Air Nostrum will also operate two weekly flights from Gran Canaria to Melilla (MLN) and Palma de Mallorca (PMI).
Operation in the Balearic Islands
Also as of July 22th, eleven new routes in the Balearic Islands will be added to Air Nostrum’s network. Mallorca will have direct services to Zaragoza (ZAZ), Pamplona (PNA), Melilla (MLN) and Badajoz (BJZ). On the other hand, there will be flights to Ibiza from Malaga (AGP), Vigo (VGO) Valladolid (VLL) and Lérida (ILD). Menorca will be connected to Vigo (VGO), Pamplona (PNA) and Lérida (ILD). In total, 25 new frequencies will be added to the offer between the Iberian Peninsula and the Mediterranean archipelago.
Services to France and Switzerland
Air Nostrum will also reinforce connections from France and Switzerland to Spanish tourist destinations. During the summer, it will offer services to Ibiza (IBZ) from Geneva (GVA) and Zurich (ZRH). It will also maintain three weekly connections to Marseille (MRS), Nice (NCE) and Toulouse (TLS). In addition, it will fly to Nice from the airports of Málaga (AGP), Palma de Mallorca (PMI) and Valencia (VLC).
