After a 27-month cancellation due to the pandemic, the Peruvian subsidiary of LATAM resumed flights between Lima and San Jose, Costa Rica, on Friday, July 1st. The airline will operate with Airbus A320-200s, configured for 174 passengers.
LATAM will have three weekly operations between the two capitals, offering 522 seats per week per leg.
Avianca and Volaris Costa Rica will be LATAM’s main competitors on the Lima – Costa Rica route and vice versa. At present, they have seven and three weekly services, respectively.
