British Airways resumes non-stop flights between London and Buenos Aires

British Airways has changed its booking system, revealing that from 26 March 2023 it will return non-stop between London/Heathrow (LHR) and Buenos Aires/Ezeiza (EZE), Argentina.

From March 2021 the carrier will operate a daily flight from São Paulo/Guarulhos (GRU) on Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, requiring 16 hours 55 minutes travel time. A combination of demand, health constraints and staff shortages at British Airways and Heathrow led to this decision.

Now, with a better outlook, the company is making up those missing frequencies on several destinations and adding new routes, such as Buenos Aires, Aruba and Guyana.

Returning to Argentina, British Airways will operate five weekly flights with Boeing 787-8 aircraft, with capacity for 214 passengers (154 World Traveller, 25 World Traveller Plus, 35 Club World), offering 2,140 seats per week. This will reduce the current flight with a stopover at Guarulhos by 2 hours.
