As part of its international development, JetSMART Argentina will inaugurate flights between Buenos Aires (Ezeiza) and Asunción beginning November 15th. Operations will be carried out in Airbus A320-200, with a capacity for 186 passengers in single class.
JetSMART will have three weekly services between the capitals of Argentina and Paraguay. With this schedule, the low cost carrier will offer 558 seats per week on each leg.
Asunción will be JetSMART Argentina’s third international destination after Santiago de Chile and Lima. The Peruvian capital will start operations in mid-September, as we reported earlier.
Prior to the outbreak of the pandemic, the market between Buenos Aires and Asunción was served by Aerolíneas Argentinas (14 weekly flights), Paranair (14 weekly flights), LATAM (7 weekly flights) and Flybondi (5 weekly flights), but since then only the first two have resumed service on the route.
