With the start of the austral summer season Delta is strengthening its connectivity between the United States and South America, increasing its operations in Argentina and Chile from its main mega hub in Atlanta (ATL).
«The increase in daily flights from Atlanta to Argentina and Chile makes it easier for friends and family to gather for the upcoming holiday festivities and for leisure and business travelers to discover all that these two major South American cities have to offer,» said Rodrigo Bértola, Delta’s Director of Sales for South America.

Argentina
As of October 29, the airline increased its Buenos Aires (EZE) operations from five times weekly to daily flights, the airline will offer 3,332 weekly seats to/from the Argentine capital.

- Buenos Aires – Atlanta Flight DL 110 ATL 21:15 – EZE 05:45+1
The route will be operated with Boeing 767-400ER aircraft with a capacity of 238 seats (34 Delta One/20 Premium Select/28 Delta Comfort+/156 Main Cabin).
Chile
As of the end of October, Delta increased its service to Santiago (SCL) from three times weekly to daily flights, the company will offer 4,746 weekly seats to/from the Chilean capital.

- Santiago – Atlanta Flight DL 147 SCL 22:20 – ATL 05:40+1
The route will be operated by Airbus A350-900 aircraft with 339 seats (30 Delta One/63 Delta Comfort+/246 Main Cabin).
Increased connection between North and South America thanks to the Delta – LATAM alliance
Following the approval of the Delta and LATAM joint venture by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), this new partnership allows travelers to access more than 300 destinations between the United States/Canada and South America (Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay).
Both partners are continually enhancing their connectivity in the Americas by expanding service, adding codeshare routes and reciprocal benefits in both carriers’ frequent flyer programs.
