At 12:10 p.m. local time on Tuesday (15), JetSMART Argentina’s inaugural flight from Buenos Aires arrived at Silvio Pettirossi airport in Asunción. The low-cost carrier will operate to the Paraguayan capital with its Airbus A320-200 fleet, configured for 186 passengers.
JetSMART will have three weekly services between the capitals of Argentina and Paraguay, offering 558 seats per week on each leg.
Aerolíneas Argentinas, JetSMART and Paranair are the carriers operating regularly on the Buenos Aires (AEP/EZE) – Asunción route.
Aerolíneas Argentinas has 10 weekly flights between Buenos Aires/Aeroparque and Asunción (1,056 seats each way), while Paranair operates 12 weekly flights between both capitals, 9 at Aeroparque and 3 at Ezeiza (totaling 546 seats each way).
