Buenos Aires was the setting for one of the biggest sports celebrations in history. Different sources reported that between 4 and 6 million people gathered yesterday to witness the passing of the bus carrying the Argentine National Soccer Team and thus have the opportunity to be close to their idols, who on Sunday won the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
As it usually happens, the epicenter was the Obelisk, in downtown Buenos Aires, which gave some of the most spectacular images in memory.
Aviation, through the Argentine Air Force, also made its presence felt, organizing the fly-by of two IA-63 Pampa and two A-4AR Fightinghawks over 9 de Julio Avenue.
