This Wednesday (21) the inaugural flight of Aerolíneas Argentinas arrived at Reconquista airport from Buenos Aires via Rosario. The company will offer two weekly services with Embraer 190 aircraft configured for 96 passengers.

With the start of Reconquista, the carrier reaches its 38th domestic destination, a number it has not had for decades.

Apart from LADE, which operated during April with a fortnightly frequency, Flyest had been the last airline to operate in 2019 (from Aeroparque via Santa Fe), succeeding Avianca Argentina, which did so between July 2018 and March 2019 (also from Aeroparque, but via Rosario).

Before Avianca Argentina, between 2013 and 2017, Reconquista had Macair flights with Jetstream 32 aircraft connecting it with Buenos Aires and Sunchales, driven by the Cámara de Comercio Exterior del Norte Santafesino. (Chamber of Foreign Trade of Northern Santa Fe).
