Aerolíneas Argentinas released preliminary results for the winter holiday period, revealing that it will have transported a total of 800,000 passengers between July 13 and 31. This figure represents a 15% increase compared to the same period in 2019, when 700,000 passengers were transported.
Travelers’ most requested destinations included Bariloche, Córdoba, Mendoza, Iguazú, Salta, Ushuaia, Neuquén, Tucumán, Santiago de Chile, and San Pablo. Additionally, excellent performances were noted from San Martín de los Andes, Mar del Plata, El Calafate, Jujuy, Trelew, and Puerto Madryn.

Record-breaking Performance on July 22
It’s important to note that on July 22, Aerolíneas Argentinas broke its single-day passenger transport record, surpassing the previous record set on November 9, 2018, when 45,769 passengers were transported due to a force majeure event that accumulated flights over two days.
July’s Projections and Comparisons
Furthermore, it is anticipated that July will end with more than 1.2 million passengers transported, representing a 10% increase compared to 2019. Likewise, the average occupancy during this month will reach 85%, in contrast to the average of 63% recorded during the same period in 2019.
