Flybondi to boost flights to Comodoro Rivadavia

As from October 1st, Flybondi will start flying daily between Aeroparque Jorge Newbery in Buenos Aires and Comodoro Rivadavia.

This means adding one more weekly flight to its current frequency and increasing by 16% the number of seats offered, which will total 1,323 per week in each direction.

The ultra low-cost airline made this announcement within the framework of the celebration of the first anniversary of its landing in Comodoro Rivadavia, the most important city in Chubut. According to a press release, since then they have mobilized more than 54,000 passengers with an average occupancy rate of 85%.

«A year ago we inaugurated the route with a frequency of 3 weekly flights. We have been increasing the number of flights due to the good response from passengers. This experience is highly valued by the thousands of passengers who choose us», said Federico Pastori, Flybondi’s Chief Commercial Officer.

Flybondi’s presence in the province of Chubut is complemented with a daily flight to Puerto Madryn, a route on which they have transported more than 82,000 passengers since 2022.

Flybondi currently flies from Buenos Aires/Aeroparque to Bariloche, Corrientes, Córdoba, Comodoro Rivadavia, El Calafate, Iguazú, Jujuy, Mendoza, Neuquén, Puerto Madryn, Posadas, Santiago del Estero, Salta, Tucumán and Ushuaia. From Buenos Aires/Ezeiza it flies to Bariloche, El Calafate, Iguazú, Jujuy, Mendoza, Neuquén, Puerto Madryn, Salta and Ushuaia, as well as Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo in Brazil (to which Florianópolis will be added in September).

It also operates interprovincial routes linking Córdoba with Bariloche, Neuquén, Mendoza and Salta.

According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, during August Flybondi will have an offer of 331,916 seats, which represents a growth of 13.9% compared to the same month of 2022.
