GOL to fly between Caxias do Sul and Florianópolis

The Hugo Cantergiani Regional Airport of Caxias do Sul (RS) is about to inaugurate a new route connecting the city with Florianópolis (SC). The initiative aims to offer more travel options for the local community, as well as to boost tourism and business in the region.

As reported by AEROIN, starting December 16th, GOL Linhas Aéreas will operate two weekly flights, available exclusively on Saturdays. The estimated flight time is just over an hour, making it an interesting alternative for those seeking a faster trip between the two cities.

On the inauguration day, December 16th, three flights are scheduled to depart from Caxias do Sul, with schedules at 9:10 am, 1:15 pm and 5:05 pm. As of January 2024, flights will take place at 9:10 a.m. and 5:05 p.m., always on Saturdays. From the International Airport of Florianópolis – Hercílio Luz, departures will be at 7:15 a.m. and 3:10 p.m., also on Saturdays.

Initially, operations are scheduled for December 2023 and January 2024.
