Aeromexico, in partnership with Delta Air Lines, begins a new non-stop route between Guadalajara and Atlanta. This service will complement Delta’s daily operation on a 180-seat Boeing 737-900.
Flight AM 294 took off from Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport at 07:58 local time and landed at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at 11:48, after two hours and 50 minutes.
Delta and Aeromexico will have a 3,906-seat weekly service between Atlanta and Guadalajara. The Mexican airline also plans a service between the capital of Jalisco and Detroit from 14 March 2024. This route will be complemented by 15 new routes to the United States and an increase in existing links.

- Guadalajara – Atlanta Flight AM 294 GDL 07:30 – ATL 12:15 daily flights.
- Atlanta – Guadalajara Flight AM 295 ATL 15:15 – GDL 17:55 daily flights.
Flights will be operated by Aeromexico Connect on Embraer E190 aircraft with a capacity of 99 seats in two classes (11 Business Class/88 Economy). The company’s international offer in Guadalajara also includes services to Fresno, Los Angeles, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Salt Lake City,
According to a report by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, last year 5,207,400 international passengers traveled through Miguel Costilla Airport, an increase of 17% compared to 2033 levels.
According to data obtained by Avicionline through Mexico’s Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC), 97,236 passengers and 173.4 tons of cargo were transported between Guadalajara and Atlanta in 2023.
