Azul is moving forward with the modification of its long-haul fleet and is about to take delivery of more used Airbus A330 aircraft, according to the Brazilian Aeronautical Registry (RAB).
The company has already booked two registrations for A330-200 aircraft that will soon leave Condor in Germany: PR-AIN and PR-AIL. These aircraft flew in Germany with the D-AYIC and D-AIYD registration numbers, and were manufactured in 2009 under original order from Etihad Airways.

As of today, the jets maintain the Arabian carrier’s original configuration, with 22 seats in Business Class and 240 in Economy, somewhat similar to the original layout of Azul’s A330-200s, with 251 seats in Economy and 20 in Business.
Another A330 is also expected from Air Belgium, this time the newest version, the A330neo. Although registration has not yet been applied for at ANAC, like the aircraft from Condor, it is very likely that the aircraft will be the one currently registered as OO-ABG.
