Aeroméxico, in partnership with Delta Air Lines, is expanding its cross-border offering with the inauguration of a non-stop service between Manzanillo and Atlanta, thus connecting the Mexican port city with one of the most important hubs in the world.
Flight AM 2694 had 60 passengers on board and was operated by Aeroméxico Connect on an Embraer 190 registered as XA-ALU, which took off from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at 16:02 local time on November 2 and landed at Playa de Oro International Airport at 17:52, after three hours and 49 minutes.
This connection will boost hotel occupancy and will generate a significant economic impact on the tourism sector throughout the region.
Aeromexico will offer 5,544 weekly seats to/from Atlanta, in addition to the service to Manzanillo, the airline also has services to León/Guanajuato, Guadalajara, Querétaro and Monterrey.

Aeromexico will continue to expand international connectivity from Manzanillo with a new service to Los Angeles that will fly once a week on Boeing 737-800 starting December 21.
