Iberia introduces a new service called «Gastrobar At Your Seat,» which offers passengers the possibility of ordering food and drinks from their mobile devices without needing to leave their seats. According to the company, this initiative aims to enhance the customer experience on short- and medium-haul flights.

To access the service, passengers scan a QR code located on the back of the seat, which directs them to Iberia’s WiFi portal and subsequently to the Gastrobar menu. The order information is sent to the cabin crew, who prepare and deliver the items directly to the customer’s seat. Payment is made at the time of delivery.

In the beverages section, new options such as Starbucks hot chocolate, Red Bull Zero, lemon Fuze Tea, and berry-flavored Kombucha are added. The wine menu includes a new premium brand, Ramón Bilbao.

The airline also introduces a Pre-order menu featuring novelties such as creamy rice in a reusable paella pan, sweet potato with pesto sauce, and orange-braised beef cheeks. For dessert, a raspberry tart is included.
