Volaris boosts connectivity in Monterrey

Volaris, in collaboration with the Nuevo León Tourism Secretariat and Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte, held an event at the Monterrey International Airport to celebrate the launch of 19 new routes, including domestic and international routes from Monterrey, boosting connectivity in northern Mexico.

«These connections strengthen Nuevo León as an attractive and accessible destination for everyone. Each flight is an opportunity to generate development, create jobs and consolidate our tourism offering,» said Maricarmen Martínez Villarreal, Secretary of Tourism of Nuevo León.

Among the domestic routes that have started are Ciudad Obregón, Mexicali, Oaxaca, Queretaro, Los Mochis, Ciudad Juarez, Culiacan, Morelia, Querétaro and Hermosillo, the new international services that began this year are Chicago O’Hare, San Antonio, Oakland and Los Angeles.

By 2025, more international services will be added to Dallas/Fort Worth (starting March 30), Denver (starting April 1), Houston-Intercontinental (starting March 30) and Miami (starting March 30).

We are very excited about the opening of these routes, which reflect the commitment we have with our Clients in Monterrey, whose preference has allowed us to increase our operations in this region, favoring them with efficient, punctual air services at highly affordable prices so that they can fly and have unforgettable travel experiences. Fly well, fly better with Volaris!» said Holger Blankenstein, Executive Vice President of Volaris.

With the expansion of Volaris‘ offer from Monterrey, Nuevo León is consolidating itself as a strategic hub for the flow of national and international passengers, which stimulates the activities of the economic and tourism sectors.
