In the afternoon of December 18, a Bombardier Challenger 300 with registration LV-GOK veered off the runway after landing at San Fernando Airport (SADF/FDO), in the northern part of Greater Buenos Aires. Preliminary information indicates that after leaving the runway, it collided with a house located outside the airport perimeter.
The aircraft had departed from Punta del Este Airport (Uruguay) around noon. The number of people on board has not yet been confirmed.
The cause of the accident is still unknown and the airport’s manoeuvring area was initially closed until midnight.
After that NOTAM, The airport will remain closed until 23:55 UTC on December 18.
The National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC) confirms that there were two crew members on board who would be deceased.
