Russia lifts restrictions with Argentina and Brazil: will there be direct flights to Moscow?

Russia will resume air services with Argentina, Brazil, Bangladesh, Costa Rica, and Mongolia. It will also lift, as of December 1, restrictions on flights to and from Cuba, Mexico, and Qatar. The Center for Anti-coronavirus Crisis told TASS that » in view of the epidemiological context a decision was made to lift restrictions on flights – regular and non-scheduled – to and from Cuba, Mexico and Qatar as of December 1, 2021″.

According to TASS there will be two weekly flights to Argentina and Brazil. The operations will be between Moscow and Buenos Aires, and Moscow and Rio de Janeiro. Three weekly flights between Ulan Bator (Mongolia) and Moscow, two weekly flights to Costa Rica (Moscow – San Jose), and two weekly flights between Dhaka (Bangladesh) and Moscow have also been approved.
