During 2019 Caracas (CCS) was one of the main Latin American destinations of Barajas Airport (MAD): in that year 240,255 passengers, almost 3,000 tons of cargo, and 1,138 air operations were mobilized. Before the pandemic, the market had four air operators: Estelar, Iberia, Air Europa, and Plus Ultra.
