Argentina: New measures to restrict companions at Ezeiza and Aeroparque

As provided by the national authorities, the access of accompanying persons to the airports of Ezeiza and Aeroparque will be restricted in order to reduce congestion and agglomerations that may lead to the loss of social distance.

At Ezeiza International Airport, as from tomorrow, the access of accompanying persons will be restricted -only passengers will be allowed to enter terminal C of the Airport between 5 am and 10 am and 6 pm and 6 pm and 11 pm. Controls will be in charge of the PSA and the measure will be in force for an indefinite period of time. Outside the mentioned hours, any person will be able to access through the main gates. Terminal A has no entry restrictions and is open to all users.

In the case of Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, the entrance of accompanying persons to the check-in area of the terminal will be restricted -only passengers will be allowed access- between 4 am and 7 am and between 1 pm and 4 pm.

Automatic doors will be closed in the pre-check-in area, leaving two doors controlled by PSA and a checkpoint will be placed at Starbucks on the first floor; both the parallel and crossed escalators will operate only in ascending direction during the restricted hours. Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 clarifies that the limitation is only in the check-in sector, while the rest of the terminal will continue to be open to the general public.

Such measures are subject to further modifications, based on the scheduling of flights and the health situation evolution.
