In mid-January, Eastern Airlines made its last scheduled flight between Miami and Asunción. The services were operated in Boeing 767-300(ER), with a capacity for 244 passengers in two classes.
When flights were suspended, the U.S. airline was planning to resume its connection with the Paraguayan capital in March. Finally, Eastern informed through its website the suspension of all operations to Silvio Pettirossi Airport until the beginning of July.
Eastern Airlines is scheduled to return to Paraguay on July 2nd with two weekly services. The operations would be with the same aircraft.
