«We are happy to be operating Asturias again from November with an exciting 2022/2023 winter schedule that includes five new routes to must-see destinations across Europe, such as Dusseldorf, Rome. London, Dublin, and Brussels. Together with our existing routes to/from Santander, Santiago de Compostela and Vitoria, we see Asturias as a great attraction to add to our growing network in Northern Spain» said Jason McGuinnes, Ryanair’s Chief Commercial Officer.
Ryanair continues to consolidate its position as the largest airline in Spain and Europe and continues to foster unprecedented growth in tourism, employment, and the Spanish economy. We therefore call on AENA to prioritize competitive airport charges, which in turn will deliver lower airfares and encourage greater connectivity and traffic throughout Spain,» added McGuinness.
According to data obtained by Aviacionline through the Cirium platform, Ryanair will have in Asturias an offer of 17,784 seats per week in ninety-two air operations, it will be the fourth largest air operator in OVD, besides being the company with more international destinations.
Do you know if the contract between Ryanair and Asturias airport will be renewed with the same route Rome to Asturias after March 2024? I can’t see flights after March 2024.
