At 2:37 p.m. on Friday (1), the first LATAM flight to Medellín took off from Lima’s Jorge Chávez airport. The Peruvian company will operate on Airbus A319 and Airbus A320-200, with capacity for 144 and 174 passengers respectively.
LATAM will have three services per week between the two cities, offering 522 seats per week on each leg.
The Lima – Medellín and vice versa route will be operated by two airlines. Viva currently serves ten flights per week on Airbus A320neo aircraft.
