Air France will become the 15th airline at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) when it begins nonstop flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG). The French carrier will be the second European operator to offer scheduled passenger flights at RDU, as part of the transatlantic partnership with Delta Air Lines.
The new service from the French capital is scheduled to provide connections from CDG to Air France’s network of nearly 200 destinations and 89 countries. According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Eurostat, 116,829 passengers were mobilized between Paris and Raleigh – Durham in 2019, France is RDU’s second largest European market, behind only the United Kingdom.

- Paris – Raleigh/Durham Flight AF 692 CDG 13:30 – RDU 17:35 Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- Raleigh/Durham – Paris Flight AF 693 RDU 19:45 – CDG 08:25+1 Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The route will be operated on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft seating 279 passengers in three classes (30 Business Class/21 Premium Economy/228 Economy) and promotional fares are available starting at 1,165 one-way.

Growth in the Atlantic
The French airline continues to boost its offering to North America, one of the most dynamic in its global network. In winter 2023-2024, the airline will have a schedule of 212 flights per week to 21 destinations in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
For the winter season, Air France will fly to 14 destinations in the United States with services to Atlanta, Boston, Chicago O’Hare, Dallas/Fort Worth, Detroit, Houston – Intercontinental, Los Angeles, Miami, New York JFK, Newark, San Francisco, Seattle – Tacoma, Washington – Dulles and Raleigh – Durham. Also, the company has seasonal summer service to Denver and Minneapolis – St. Paul.
In addition to the new service to RDU, the airline will increase the Paris – Dallas/Fort Worth route from 3 to 5 weekly flights, offering two extra flights compared to the previous season.
Air France maintains its leadership as the leading airline between Europe and Canada, during the winter it will be flying to Montreal, Vancouver, Toronto and Ottawa. Also, the French airline will resume services between Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport and Guadeloupe with twice weekly flights operated on Airbus A320s.
Services to Montreal and Vancouver will increase with up to 21 and 5 weekly flights respectively, up from 17 and 3 last winter. The airline will also remain the only carrier to offer non-stop flights between Europe and Ottawa.

On the other hand its sister airline KLM, its schedule between Amsterdam and North America will have non-stop services to Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Calgary, Cancun, Chicago O’Hare, Edmonton, Houston – Intercontinental, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Miami, Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Montreal, New York JFK, San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver and Washington – Dulles.
