Lynx Air expands service to Florida and adds new service to Tampa

Lynx Air expands its U.S. operations by expanding its flight offerings to Florida with new routes from Toronto – Pearson and Montreal – Trudeau to Tampa and new service from Vancouver to Orlando. The low-cost carrier will strengthen its winter schedule by offering more flights to popular tourist destinations in the southeastern U.S. from four major Canadian cities.

All Lynx Air services are operated on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with 189-seat capacity in a single configuration and promotional fares are available from $115 CAD each way. By late fall, Lynx Air will offer 66 weekly services to and from Florida with non-stop flights to Toronto – Pearson, Montreal – Trudeau, Calgary and Vancouver.

In addition to its Florida operations, the Canadian low-cost carrier also offers nonstop U.S. service to Las Vegas from Montreal and Calgary; Los Angeles and Phoenix from Calgary and Toronto.

Lynx Air’s Florida schedule

For the winter season, the company will offer 9,828 weekly seats between Florida and Canada.

  • Toronto – Tampa: starts November 16 with four weekly flights (Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday).
  • Montreal – Tampa: begins November 17 with four weekly flights (Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday).
  • Montreal – Orlando: begins November 2 with four flights weekly (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday).
  • Calgary – Orlando: begins November 7 with two flights per week (Tuesday and Saturday).
  • Vancouver – Orlando: begins November 18 with one flight per week (Saturday).
  • Toronto – Fort Myers: starts on December 14 with four weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday).
  • Toronto – Orlando: currently operating with daily flights.
