Viva Aerobus continues its steady expansion to the United States with new nonstop service from Guanajuato International Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth. With this new route, the low cost airline will offer three destinations in Texas from Leon.
Viva Aerobus will now offer nine destinations, including four international, from Guanajuato. The airline connects Leon with Ciudad Juarez, Cancun, Merida, Monterrey, Tijuana, Houston-Intercontinental, Chicago O’Hare, San Antonio and soon Dallas/Fort Worth.
Starting in December, the airline will have four to five flights a week to Houston, two to three flights a week to San Antonio, and seasonally from November to December, up to three flights a week to Chicago O’Hare. By next summer, between June and July, capacity to Houston will be increased to daily flights, San Antonio will have four flights a week and Chicago O’Hare three flights a week.

- Dallas/Fort Worth – Leon/Guanajuato Flight VB781 DFW 18:45 – BJX 21:45 Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
According to the company, in the January-September 2023 period, Viva Aerobus mobilized more than 510,000 passengers to and from the Guanajuato city, an 8% increase compared to 2022 levels.
Viva Aerobus will offer travelers coming from Dallas to connect by land to nearby destinations in a convenient way. The airline’s «Viaja Ahorrando» program and bus line partnerships provide connections to cities such as Celaya, Irapuato, Lagos de Moreno, Morelia, Salamanca, Zacatecas and Zamora.
