CMA GMA Air Cargo will add two Boeing 777F aircraft this year: The first aircraft, scheduled for delivery in June, will enable the opening of a transpacific route between Chicago and Seoul and will also serve Hong Kong airport. The second aircraft will be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2024 and will connect Mainland China to North America. The flights will be operated by its partner Atlas Air.
With an expanded fleet the company will fulfill its global ambitions:
- It has a fleet of two Boeing 777Fs and three Airbus A330Fs based at its Paris Charles de Gaulle hub.
- Two Boeing 777F aircraft will be operating connections between Europe and Greater China: five weekly flights to Hong Kong and four weekly flights to Shanghai.
- Three Airbus A330Fs are in the fleet: two are under lease, while the third operates connections between Pariś-Charles de Gaulle, Mumbai, and Guangzhou three times a week.
- In 2025, a third Boeing 777F will be delivered, boosting the expanded fleet its range and the capacity available to customers.
- In 2026, the delivery of eight Airbus A350F aircraft will enable the operation of a worldwide network, meeting the global logistics needs of air cargo customers.
As the launch customer for the freighter version of the Airbus A350, CMA CGM has chosen the most environmentally efficient aircraft on the market, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable transport. The A350F emits 20% less CO2 than its direct competitors.
