Aeromexico, in alliance with its Joint Venture partner Delta Air Lines, will begin nonstop service between Cancun and Miami for the 2024/2025 winter season.
This new route will complement Aeromexico’s existing Miami operation, which is scheduled to operate five daily flights from Mexico City. In total, the airline will offer four routes to East Florida, and also has flights to Orlando and Tampa from the Mexican capital.
According to statistics from Mexico’s Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC) in 2023, 567,971 passengers and 3,885.1 tons of cargo were mobilized in 4,133 operations between Cancun and Miami. Currently, American Airlines is the only airline operator in this segment.
