Volaris launches a new non-stop service between the Baja California Peninsula and San Francisco Bay. The low-cost airline will begin the Los Cabos-Oakland route by the end of the winter season, boosting the tourist market of the Mexican Riviera destinations of Cabo San Lucas.
At Oakland Airport, Volaris has services to Guadalajara (two daily flights), Morelia (six weekly flights), Leon/Guanajuato (six weekly flights), Mexico City (daily flights) and as of November 5, 2024, Monterrey will be added (three weekly flights).
“We know very well that East Bay residents prefer to start their vacations from OAK, the closest convenient airport to home. The new flights to Cabo are well-timed for hotel check-in and check-out, allowing Volaris customers to optimize their fun and relaxation at this popular destination,” said Port of Oakland Aviation Director Craig Simon.
