In a new update to the reservation system, it has been observed that GOL Linhas Aéreas will suspend its flights between Buenos Aires/Ezeiza (EZE), Argentina, and Bogotá (BOG), Colombia, after ten months of operations.

This is the second change made by the Brazilian company, following its mid-October announcement of the suspension of non-stop flights between Bogotá and São Paulo. According to the reservation system, the daily flights GOL operated with Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft between Guarulhos and Bogotá will cease on December 10, at which point the route will be offered with a stopover in Buenos Aires.

Now, GOL will also suspend its flights between Buenos Aires and Bogotá starting February 3, 2025. After this date, the two capitals will only be connected by Avianca and Aerolíneas Argentinas, both operating up to five daily flights.

According to the ANAC Argentina and ANAC Brazil, GOL transported 78,206 passengers, with an average load factor of 72%.

Changes to GOL flights to Bogotá

Despite the suspension of its flights from the two largest cities in South America, GOL will maintain its presence in Bogotá.

Starting February 4, 2025, GOL will connect Brasilia (BSB) and Bogotá with four weekly flights. This route will provide access to GOL’s domestic connection network from Brasilia.

  • Brasilia – Bogotá flight G3 8243 BSB 08:50 – 12:22 BOG / Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
  • Bogotá – Brasilia flight G3 8243 BOG 23:33 – 06:55/07:38 (+1) BSB / Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Passengers on the canceled São Paulo and Buenos Aires flights will be rerouted via Brasilia. From Ezeiza to Brasilia, there are five weekly flights with GOL and two weekly flights with Aerolíneas Argentinas.
