JetSMART resumed its flights between Buenos Aires and Florianópolis (FLN), a route where it will initially operate 5 weekly flights, increasing to 11 during the peak summer months. The connection will remain year-round, with the difference that operations will shift from Ezeiza to Aeroparque.
The airline had suspended its flights to Florianópolis on August 30, already planning their resumption on December 13.
JetSMART will compete with GOL Linhas Aéreas (3 weekly flights), Flybondi (3 daily flights), and Aerolíneas Argentinas (3 daily flights). According to ANAC Brasil, Buenos Aires–Florianópolis is the third route with the highest passenger volume between Argentina and Brazil, carrying 287,374 passengers from January to October 2024, with a load factor of 78%.
JetSMART and its international offering in Argentina
JetSMART is the fifth most important airline in terms of international passenger movement in Argentina, according to ANAC of that country. The ultra-low-cost carrier transported 636,005 passengers between January and October 2024.
This summer season, it will connect five cities through six routes. One of the most notable developments is that all its routes from Buenos Aires have been transferred from Ezeiza to Aeroparque, except for Rio de Janeiro, which will operate from Ezeiza during this season.

- Mendoza–Santiago: 4 weekly flights. Inaugurated in March 2024.
In the last quarter, it added three Airbus A320ceo to its Argentine fleet, reaching a total of 11 aircraft. In February, it will receive its first A320neo, which will also be the first in Argentina.
