The Aeronavation Protection and Safety Technicians and Employees Association (ATEPSA for its initials in Spanish), the union that represents controllers, yesterday announced the implementation of its progressive force measures plan. It will come into effect from today Saturday, June 26 and will affect cargo transport, executive aviation and general aviation services, including flight schools. Humanitarian flights, cargo flights for pharmacological supplies (including vaccines) and medical transports will not be affected.
The measure has already been received by EANA, the company in charge of providing air navigation services in the country. Through NOTAM, crews were informed that delays in operations may be expected.
The workers’ plan of struggle will be gradual. It will affect at first the activities exposed in this note.

An escalation in the conflict is not ruled out if there is no resolution. As shown in the schedule, if there is no agreement between the parties, as of Monday, July 12, the commercial cabotage service could begin to suffer.
