Alaska Airlines is boosting its East Coast offerings this summer with a seasonal service between Anchorage and New York, the only nonstop connection between the Big Apple’s main airport and Alaska. The route will be available through August 19.
On June 13, flight AS607 was operated by a Boeing 737 MAX registered as N801AK, which took off from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport at 20:17 local time and landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport at 07:02 the following day, after six hours and 46 minutes.

- New York – Anchorage Flight AS615 JFK 09:45 – ANC 13:30 daily flights.
Flights are operated on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with 159 seats in total: 12 First Class, 30 Premium Class, and 117 Main Cabin. Alaska Airlines also has flights to New York from Portland, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle-Tacoma, and seasonal service to Palm Springs.
At about 5,448 kilometers, the Anchorage-New York JFK route is the longest in the Alaska Airlines network. The Boeing 737 MAX 8 is the aircraft with the longest range of any aircraft in the airline’s fleet.
This summer season, Alaska Airlines is scheduled to provide 14 nonstop flights from Anchorage to all 48 states and Hawaii: Chicago O’Hare, Denver, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Minneapolis/St. Paul, New York, Phoenix-Sky Harbor, Portland, Salt Lake City, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle-Tacoma and Seattle/Everett (Paine Field).
