Alaska Airlines launches nonstop service between Anchorage and New York

Alaska Airlines is boosting its East Coast offerings this summer with a seasonal service between Anchorage and New York, the only nonstop connection between the Big Apple’s main airport and Alaska. The route will be available through August 19.
On June 13, flight AS607 was operated by a Boeing 737 MAX registered as N801AK, which took off from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport at 20:17 local time and landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport at 07:02 the following day, after six hours and 46 minutes.
Alaskans love their travel options and love them even more when they include non-stop flights. Our new service to New York JFK is a perfect addition to our flight schedule for Alaskans looking for adventure in one of the world’s most dynamic cities and for New Yorkers eager for new experiences in our great state,” said Marilyn Romano, Alaska regional vice president for Alaska Airlines.
