STELIA Aerospace has developed a seat of its EQUINOX® Premium Business Class model highly customized to China Airlines standards for its new Airbus A321neo. This product will soon be available from the company.
Passengers can now enjoy a full-bat seat on a narrowbody aircraft, thanks to all the attributes offered by this product and the requirements employed by STELIA Aerospace and China Airlines to meet the company’s stringent requirements to meet the needs of its corporate customers.
Seat features
The seat includes a wealth of innovative features, specially designed for China Airlines, including:
- A wide 180-degree reclining bed with a width of 22.5 in.
- Retractable and telescoping dividers between the seats for privacy.
- Personal storage space under the TV screen, with a door that converts into a small shelf.
- A new LED control panel, allows the passenger to adjust the seat electrically to maximize in-flight comfort.
- A new induction charging system for mobile devices, a rare feature on single-aisle aircraft.
- Ambient lighting projections around each passenger’s head, to provide more comfort at night and promote sleep.
STELIA Aerospace has also designed a full-height monument specifically for China Airlines in the first row of the aircraft. This optimizes the aircraft’s storage space and seating capacity and provides a comfortable cabin environment after passengers board the aircraft.
China Airlines with the introduction of the Airbus A321neo will begin replacing its entire Boeing 737-800 NG fleet. The new aircraft will be used for short/medium-haul flights.
