During the upcoming 2022/2023 winter season, All Nippon Airways will recover its operation to North America by 90% as a result of increased passenger demand, which will include multiple non-stop services from Tokyo-Haneda (HND).
Washington (IAD) and Houston (IAH).
ANA will resume operations to Washington – Dulles (IAD) and Houston – Intercontinental (IAH) from Tokyo – Haneda (HND) with three weekly flights operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with 215 seats in three classes (48 Business Class/21 Premium Economy/146 Economy).
These routes will complement existing services from Narita Airport (NRT). Both cities will have daily flights, restoring their pre-pandemic frequencies.
Increased premium offer at Chicago (ORD)
The Japanese carrier will resume non-stop services between Haneda (HND) and Chicago (ORD) with daily flights this winter, complemented by its daily operation from Narita (NRT), restoring all frequencies operated prior to the COVID-19 crisis.
All routes to Chicago-O’Hare International Airport (ORD) will be operated on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with 212 seats in four classes, including the airline’s new «The Suite» and «The Room» products, increasing the premium offering for customers travelling to the Windy City.
More flights to the West Coast of the United States
At Los Angeles (LAX), ANA’s main US market, service from Haneda (HND) increases from 10 to 14 flights per week, complementing daily operations from Narita (NRT).
By the start of the northern winter season, NH126/NH125 services will increase from 3 flights per week to daily flights. The routes to Los Angeles will be operated on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. With this announcement, the airline restores all of its pre-pandemic frequencies on this segment.
Flights between Haneda (HND) and San Francisco (SFO) increase from 5 to 7 flights per week, complementing daily operations from Narita (NRT). ANA will offer a total of two daily flights to SFO, exceeding its offering from 2019 levels.
All ANA services at San Francisco will be operated on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
At Seattle – Tacoma (SEA) the carrier will continue to operate from Narita (NRT) replacing the Haneda (HND) service. ANA will offer six flights per week on Boeing 787-8s.
Services suspended
ANA maintains the suspension of its non-stop services between Haneda (HND) and San Jose, California (SJC), and Narita (NRT) and New York (JFK), pending a further revival in demand.
Canada and Mexico
ANA keeps its Narita (NRT) – Vancouver (NRT) services with five flights a week on Boeing 787s. There are still no plans to change this service to Haneda (HND) as previously operated in 2019.
All Nippon Airways currently operates daily between Narita (NRT) and Mexico City (MEX), making it the only airline to offer non-stop flights between Japan and Mexico.
