GOL began non-stop flights between João Pessoa and Buenos Aires

Since last Saturday, July 1st, GOL Linhas Aéreas began operating flights from João Pessoa to Buenos Aires. The new service, which directly impacts the international tourist flow, came about due to the articulation between the Government of Paraíba and the companies for the expansion of the airline network.

The Secretary of Tourism and Economic Development, Rosália Lucas, affirms that the flights will bring more convenience to passengers, who currently need to make a stopover in Natal (RN). “We have a constant partnership of dialogues and negotiations to improve flights in our state and now we intend to strengthen actions in the countries that make up South America,” said Rosália.

  • Origin: Buenos Aires (departure 16h20) – Destination: João Pessoa (arrival 23h35) on Saturdays
  • Origin: João Pessoa (departure 00h25) – Destination: Buenos Aires (arrival 06h05) on Sundays

The Executive Secretary of Tourism, Delano Tavares, celebrated the return of the non-stop route. “Argentina is one of the largest emitters of tourists to Brazil and it is actions like this that put João Pessoa increasingly as the gateway to the international tourist route”.
