LATAM will resume operations to Buenos Aires from Lima, San Pablo and Santiago de Chile

Last March, like most airlines, LATAM Group operated its last scheduled flight to and from Argentina. At the time, the company’s network of destinations was quite large, with operations from differents countries in Latin America to Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Mendoza, Rosario, Salta and Tucumán.

LATAM routes before the pandemic in Argentina:

  • Asunción – Buenos Aires – Asunción: suspended, although it continues thanks to the code share with Paranair.
  • Buenos Aires – Bariloche – Buenos Aires: suspended.
  • Buenos Aires – Comodoro Rivadavia – Buenos Aires: suspended.
  • Buenos Aires – Córdoba – Buenos Aires: suspended.
  • Buenos Aires – El Calafate – Buenos Aires: suspended.
  • Buenos Aires – Iguazú – Buenos Aires: suspended.
  • Buenos Aires – Mendoza – Buenos Aires: suspended.
  • Buenos Aires – Miami – Buenos Aires: suspended.
  • Buenos Aires – Neuquén – Buenos Aires: suspended.
  • Buenos Aires – Río Gallegos – Buenos Aires: suspended.
  • Buenos Aires – Salta – Buenos Aires: suspended.
  • Buenos Aires – Tucumán – Buenos Aires: suspended.
  • Buenos Aires – Ushuaia – Buenos Aires: suspended.
  • Córdoba – San Pablo – Falkland Islands: no restart date.
  • El Calafate – Ushuaia – El Calafate: suspended.
  • Florianópolis – Buenos Aires – Florianópolis: in doubt for the 2020/21 summer season.
  • Iquique – Salta – Iquique: suspended (summer route).
  • Lima – Buenos Aires – Lima: restarting on October 18.
  • Lima – Córdoba – Lima: postponed to 2021.
  • Lima – Mendoza – Lima: postponed to 2021.
  • Lima – Rosario – Lima: postponed to 2021, although it does not appear in GDS yet.
  • Lima – Salta – Lima: postponed to 2021, although not in GDS yet.
  • Lima – Tucumán – Lima: postponed to 2021, although it does not appear in GDS yet.
  • Recife – Buenos Aires – Recife: no restarting date.
  • Rio de Janeiro – Buenos Aires – Rio de Janeiro: from 01/01/2021.
  • San Pablo – Bariloche – San Pablo: postponed for the winter season 2021.
  • San Pablo – Buenos Aires – San Pablo: from October 16.
  • San Pablo – Córdoba – San Pablo: postponed to 2021.
  • San Pablo – Córdoba – Islas Malvinas: no restarting date.
  • San Pablo – Mendoza – San Pablo: postponed to 2021.
  • Santiago de Chile – Buenos Aires – Santiago de Chile: starting October 16.
  • Santiago de Chile – Córdoba – Santiago de Chile: postponed to 2021.
  • Santiago de Chile – Mendoza – Santiago de Chile: postponed to 2021.
  • Ushuaia – El Calafate – Ushuaia: suspended.

According to the schedule, LATAM will resume operations to Buenos Aires from São Paulo and Santiago de Chile as of October 16. The flights will be carried out on Airbus A320-200s, with a capacity for 174 passengers.

Lima – Buenos Aires has a restart date for October 18. Operations will also be on Airbus A320s.

This schedule is subject to change or cancellation due to government approval.
