Aerolineas Argentinas Resumes Scheduled Flights on October 22

Aerolineas Argentinas announced yesterday its initial schedule of regular domestic flights, which will begin operating from this Thursday, October 22.

The first flight will be the AR1470, which will depart from Ezeiza International Airport at 5:05 to San Salvador de Jujuy, where it will land at 7:20.

Next flights that day will be to Corrientes, Puerto Iguazú, Mendoza, San Luis and Ushuaia, while on Friday there will be flights to and from Córdoba, La Rioja, Salta, Resistencia, Posadas, Bariloche, Comodoro Rivadavia and Neuquén.

«We will be resuming our network gradually during the next days, as well as the number of daily frequencies, which will increase depending on demand», said the airline in a press release.

They also confirmed to Aviacionline that this schedule is already approved by the different provinces, which reconfirms what had been advanced last week about the fact that most of the governors were willing to once again allow scheduled flights.

But this does not remove the possibility that, if the epidemiological situation deteriorates, each province decides to restrict operations.

Passengers must wear face masks throughout the trip, and those who have symptoms or a fever higher than 37.5 °C without medical justification will not be allowed to board. The same situation is for those who are positive for COVID-19.

It still remains unknown what are the requirements that each province will impose.

This is the detail of the frequencies confirmed for the moment:

Bahia Blanca: Departure from Buenos Aires on October 25 and 28 and return the same day.
Bariloche: Seven roundtrip flights, for October 23, 24, 25, 27, 30, 31 and November 1.
Corrientes: Two roundtrip flights, on October 22 and 29.
Cordoba: There will be flights between Ezeiza and Córdoba on October 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 and November 1. In addition, there will be two flights only from Ezeiza to Córdoba on 23 and 30, which will continue to Resistencia and from there it will return to Ezeiza.
Comodoro Rivadavia: Three roundtrip flights were scheduled on October 23, 26 and 30.
Catamarca: At the moment, there will be only one roundtrip flight, on October 28.
Formosa: There is only one flight scheduled, round trip, for October 26.
El Calafate: Aerolineas scheduled two roundtrip flights, on October 24 and 31.
Iguazú: Seven weekly frequencies, round trip, are planned for October 22, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31 and November 1.
Jujuy: There will be two roundtrip flights from Ezeiza, on October 22 and 29.
La Rioja: Two roundtrip flights to that province are expected, one on October 23 and the other on October 30.
Mar del Plata: Three round trips are scheduled from Ezeiza, on October 25, 28 and November 1.
Mendoza: At the moment, there are 10 scheduled trips from Ezeiza to Mendoza, round trip for the days 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 of October and 1 of November.
Neuquén: Aerolineas scheduled six roundtrip flights for October 23, 25, 26, 28, 30 and November 1.
Posadas: Three roundtrip flights from Ezeiza are expected in the month, scheduled for October 23, 26 and 30.
Trelew: There are three flights scheduled for this month, round trip, for October 24, 29 and 31.
Resistencia: It is expected that three roundtrip flights will be made on October 25, 28 and November 1, and two frequencies will be added only from Resistencia to Ezeiza on October 23 and 30.
Rio Grande: At the moment, there is only one flight scheduled for October, round trip, for October 27.
Rio Gallegos: It is expected to have a roundtrip flight on October 28.
Rosario: There are two flights scheduled, round trip, for October 26 and 30.
Salta: Aerolineas scheduled six round-trip flights for the next few weeks, on October 23, 25, 26, 28 and 30 and November 1.
San Luis: Two roundtrip flights between Ezeiza and that city are projected for October 22 and 29.
Santiago del Estero: Aerolineas scheduled two roundtrip flights for October 26 and 30.
Santa Fe: Two roundtrip services were scheduled for October 24 and October 31.
San Juan: You will receive a single roundtrip flight on October 27.
Tucumán: The airline plans to carry out six round-trip flights in the coming weeks, for October 22, 25, 27, 29, 31 and November 1.
Ushuaia: There will be three roundtrip flights, on October 22, 28 and 29.
