JetBlue continues to expand internationally through the Northeast Alliance (NEA) with American Airlines, offering travelers greater choice of destinations from north of the East Coast. The airline will be the sole operator from Puerto Vallarta to the main airport in the New York metropolitan area and also offers service from Mexico to Cancun (CUN) and Los Cabos (SJD).
With this new service, JetBlue expands its offerings between New York and the Mexican Pacific Coast, offering more frequencies than any other U.S. airline.

«For Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP) to welcome JetBlue for the first time in Puerto Vallarta is a celebration. And it’s also a sign that the best is yet to come, by demonstrating to passengers that they can feel safe when traveling. The airport provides the highest security measures. It counts with the largest investment in its history to offer customers the best travel experience» said Briana Gisel Banda Rentería, Head of Public Relations and Project Management at Puerto Vallarta International Airport.
Data obtained by Aviacionline through Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico in 2021 Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR) mobilized 2,271,500 international passengers. This represents a recovery of 70.07% compared to 2019.
