On March 16, 2020, United Airlines carried out its last regular operation between New York (Newark) and Lima due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The company connected the two cities once a day.
In addition to Newark, United also operated in the Boeing 767-300 to and from Houston. The operations were also carried out with a daily frequency.
According to Cirium, the company will resume operations between Newark and Lima starting April 1st. United Airlines will have a daily flight in the Boeing 757-200s, with a capacity for 169 passengers.
With this schedule, the company will offer a total of 5,070 monthly seats between New York and the Peruvian capital, a similar number of places they had until March of last year.
