Last December, American Airlines made its last flight between the United States and Spain as a result of travel restrictions due to COVID-19 pandemic. American had three weekly frequencies between Dallas Fort-Worth and Madrid on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.
Previously, the company had suspended part of its schedule to Madrid and Barcelona from United States, mainly from Chicago, Philadelphia, Miami and New York.
According to information obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, and reconfirmed with the reservation system, American Airlines resumed operations to Barcelona and Madrid from March 27th. Flights will be operated on the Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9 respectively.
Each route will have a daily flight. With this schedule, American will offer 7,020 monthly seats on the Miami – Barcelona route and vice versa, while between Dallas and Madrid will have 8,550 seats per month.
