Sarpa begins sale of its commercial routes

Sarpa, a new airline that will venture into the commercial market, began sales of its first routes that will start operating as of December 15.

Therefore, the first direct sales channel will be through its web page, where travelers will be able to find special introductory fares with attractive prices that will be maintained until December 5.  The airline is now also making its Contact Center available and is activating sales through travel agencies.

According to Carlos Andrés Mesa, CEO of the airline, the entry into operation of scheduled routes will reduce between 20% and 30% of the current travel costs charged for these routes, most of which require a connection from El Dorado airport.

“At Sarpa, we aimed to respond to the need for direct connectivity between major and intermediate cities, which will be reflected in the reduction of costs both in terms of money and time for travelers,” he said.

Domestic and international flights will be operated in Embraer 145 aircraft with a capacity of 50 passengers.
