With the arrival of flight CM330 to Armenia, Copa Airlines inaugurated on Nov 2, its route between the capital of Quindío and Panama City, breaking a two-year drought without new destinations.
Christophe Didier, Vice President of Sales for Copa Airlines, said «This new flight to Armenia allows us to continue enhancing the connectivity of the cities of the continent, strengthening the position of the Hub of the Americas and contributing to the socio-economic development of the region through the tourism sector.
Simultaneously, the airline hosted an inauguration event at Tocumen Airport in Panama, which was attended by Camilo Vizcaya Rodriguez, Second Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Embassy of Colombia in Panama; Cristian Duque, Commercial Representative of ProColombia in Panama; and Raffoul Arab, General Manager of Tocumen, S.A.
Copa Airlines flight CM330 will operate three weekly frequencies on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays on Boeing 737-700 aircraft with a capacity for 12 passengers in Business Class and 112 passengers in the main cabin.

Lastly, the airline confirmed that on December 6 it will begin operations to the city of Cúcuta with three weekly frequencies in a Boeing 737-800 with a capacity for 16 passengers in Business Class and 144 passengers in the main cabin.
