Starting June 1, 2022, Finnair will operate three weekly flights between Helsinki and Seattle, WA, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during the summer season.
Flight AY033 will depart Helsinki at 17:55 arriving in Seattle at 17:40 local time, after 9 hours 45 minutes flight time. The return as AY034 will be at 19:20, landing in the Finnish capital at 14:50 local time the following day after 9 hours 30 minutes of flight time. They will be operated on Airbus A330-300 aircraft with a capacity for 45 passengers in Business, 40 in Premium Economy, and 178 in Economy.
This service will be in addition to the permanent operation of its flights connecting Helsinki with Dallas, New York-JFK, Los Angeles and Chicago.

To further boost its presence in the United States, the airline also announced that it will continue its flights from Stockholm to New York-JFK and Los Angeles, increasing frequencies to daily and four flights per week, respectively, as of May 1.
