Early in the first week of December, there was a deployment of a Portuguese airline to Buenos Aires/Ezeiza (EZE), which evidenced the importance of the cargo market in the country.
This significant deployment represented the return of TAP Air Portugal to Argentina, this time with purely cargo operations. But what is striking is that the operations were carried out in Airbus A330-900 aircraft, being the first time that this model has arrived in the South American country.
The model is an improved version of the Airbus A330ceo, which has two variants: A330-800 and A330-900. It has Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, which are 11% more efficient than the engines of the previous generation, and 112 inches larger. The -900 has a range of 12,130 kilometers and can accommodate up to 460 passengers, while the -800 can carry up to 406 passengers in a single class or 257 in three different classes, and is certified to operate up to 13,120 kilometers.

TAP Air Portugal has 19 A330neo and has 6 more pending delivery, with a capacity for 298 passengers. Nevertheless, the company has been using it for various cargo operations, taking advantage of the high demand for electronic and pharmacological products.
Within this context, three flights were made between Lisbon (LIS), Portugal, and Buenos Aires/Ezeiza (EZE) with flight designations TP 9175/9504. The aircraft in charge were CS-TUO, CS-TUS, and CS-TUQ, arriving on November 29 and 30, and December 1.
